Get the scoop on the scams vs. the ones that are legit

The legitimate survey sites, the ones who are actually accumulating data for companies, mostly have some kind of a points and rewards system: you earn points or sweepstakes entries for each survery you take, the trade the points for rewards, or maybe win something in the sweepstakes.  Legitimate survery sites do not direct you to offers to "help keep this site free" because they are paid by the companies who requested a market study.  You will not be asked, or "offered the opportunity", to purchase products, join clubs, or subscribe to a service.  Below is a list of survey websites that I have worked with for years, and found to be legitimate.

Zoom Panel
Legitimate surveys accrue points that you can exchange for rewards.

Survey Spot
This is probably my favorite site.  You earn sweepstakes entries even if you don't qualify for the survey.  I have gotten paid ($10, $20) twice by check sent in the mail.  They offer a wide variety of surveys, have quite a few surverys for teens, and I fill out at least one survey a day for them.

NPDOR
I don't get surveys from them often, but they are legit.

My Survey.com
I get lots of surveys that I enjoy doing

I do not consider the sites listed below to be legitimate.  They are out to earn money from the spending of your money.  These are sites that I have joined and reviewed from a members perspective.

Panda Research
Surveys are tied directly into offers.  For most of its cash rewards you must sign up for something and pay a fee in order to be eligible.  And the fee is always higher than what you are going to get paid.  The "surveys" are not market research, but rather to get you prepared "or authorized" to see an offer that wants you to spen money.  On cash rewards, Panda will not pay you until you have accumulated $100.00 & that could take a very long time depending upon how many of their offers you can afford or want to spend money on.

Survey Team
See Panda Research above.  They hold your cash rewards until you accumulate $50.00 and only pay it to PayPal.

Winning Surveys
A few survey type questions surrounded by many offers for you to spend money.  All though they may have a few legit survey questions, I didn't think it was worth going through all the ads.  Rewards were entries into sweepstakes.

Global Survey
All their "surveys" are lead-ins to offers for you t spend money.

InBoxDollars
Primary goal is show offers for you to spend money on.

VivaResearch
Another site who ultimately wants you to spend money on offers.

Creations Rewards
Always end up directed to offers for you to spend money.

Reliaclick
Takes you to Viva Research, listed above

The list of reward survey sites listed above does not represent all survey sites available on the Internet.  The comments made are my comments based on my observations and actual interaction and experience with the sites.
